Health and Safety
A Resident Assistant at Stephens Hall reported a student suffering from a medical emergency.  The student was transported to the Student Health Center for treatment by University Ambulance.  Investigation by PSO Triveri.

Theft of Property Lost, Mislaid or Delivered by Mistake
A staff member reported keys missing from the James Elliot Building.  The loss is estimated at $20.00.  Investigation by PSO Aschenbrenner.

Theft
A student reported her bicycle was taken from the rack at Redifer Commons sometime between 1800 hours on 19 November 2008 and an unknown time on 20 November 2008. The loss is estimated at $85.00.  Investigation by PSO Peters.

Health and Safety
A fire detection signal was received from Simmons Hall.   The cause of the alarm was undetermined. Investigation by PSO Jones.

Theft by Deception/Receiving Stolen Property
A staff member reported a counterfeit bill was received at Pollock Commons on 1 December 2008.  Investigation by PSO Rawding.

Disorderly Conduct
A student reported an unknown male was being disorderly in the Forum Building.  Investigation by PSO Brooks.

Assist Outside Agency
PSO Jones assisted a student with recovering her property that was stolen in State College.

Traffic Violation
As the result of a traffic stop along Porter Road near Medlar Field, it was determined the that the vehicle’s registration was invalid.  Investigation by PSO Massaro.

Community Relations
PSO Tilden reported he participated in a panel discussion held at the Student Health Center.  The discussion was relative to career paths in public safety.  Approximately thirty persons attended.

Health and Safety/Liquor Law Violation
Personnel from University Police assisted University Ambulance Service staff with student in Packer Hall who was under the influence of  beverage alcohol to the degree that he could not care for himself.  The student was determined to be less than twenty-one years of age and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.  A citation charging him with Liquor Law Violation will be filed at a later date.  Investigation by PSO Rider.

Driving Under the Influence / Traffic Violations
Officer Bjorkman filed criminal charges in the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Grine against Michael Alexander Canavan, 4043 Danberry Dr, Easton, PA.  Canavan is charged with Driving Under the Influence and Traffic Violations.  The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 3 December 2008 at the intersection of South Pugh St. and East College Ave.

Drug Law Violation
Officer Peters filed criminal charges in the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Gine against Steven T. Winslow, 6429 Dwane Ave, San Diego, CA.  Winslow is charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 30 August 2008 in Holmes Hall. 

Public Drunkenness
Officer Peters filed a Non-Traffic Citation in the office of Magisterial District Judge Leslie Dutchcot against Ramsey A. Barrett, 7831 Carters Run Dr, Marshall, VA.  Barrett is charged with Public Drunkenness.  The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 22 November 2008 along Curtin Road.

Liquor Law Violation
Sergeant McClellan issued a Non-Traffic Citation to Kelly Anne Post, 209 Kuhl Road, Flemington, NJ. Post is charged with Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverages. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 22 November 2008 in Geary Hall.

Criminal Trespass/Criminal Mischief/Theft/Receiving Stolen Property
PSO Grego arraigned the following individuals at the office of Magisterial District Judge Leslie A. Dutchcot: Robert Dunne, 4711 Ilkley Moor, Ellicott City, MD; Richard A. Lerner, 424 Madison St., Westbury, NY; Jason J. Niggel, 30 Weaver Road, Reading, PA; Adam D. Parisi, 92 Shadow Grove, Holbrook, NY; and Charles E. Reilly, 1741 Aidenn Lair Rd., Dresher, PA. Dunne is charged with Criminal Trespass and Receiving Stolen Property. Lerner is charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief. Niggel is charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief. Parisi is charged with Criminal Trespass, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property. Reilly is charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief. All were released on recognizance. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 2 November 2008 in Stuart Hall.

Theft/Receiving Stolen Property/Furnishing to Minors
PSO Grego arraigned Robert Dunne, 4711 Ilkley Moor, Ellicott City, MD at the office of Magisterial District Judge Leslie A. Dutchcot. Dunne is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Furnishing to Minors. Dunne was released on recognizance. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 3 November 2008 in Stuart Hall.
